Printwaste
Schools recycling collections are available to all schools throughout Gloucestershire. Over 70% of schools are recycling via the County Councils Recycling Contract. This provides a fantastic opportunity to get your pupils involved in recycling and help them learn not only how important it is but how easy and fun it can be.
These are the items schools can currently recycle via the Councils Recycling Contract:
• Paper –all types and colours are accepted, including junk mail, magazines & envelopes.
• Cardboard
• Plastic bottles
• Cans
• Tetra-paks
• IT equipment
• Fluorescent Light Tubes
• Glass bottles and jars

Compostable Waste
All schools in the County are entitled to get two free compost bins, funded by the County Council. You can find out more by calling us on 01452 426525. The bins are 330litre bins and are an ideal starting point if you have a school garden and want to get your pupils involved in gardening and composting.
