Visit to Charlton Kings Infant School
Recycle for Gloucestershire Schools recently called in on Charlton Kings to deliver the ladybird shelter they were awarded for reaching 200 points on the RFG Challenge.
It was very exciting to arrive at the same time as the Cheltenham in Bloom judges! We were all taken on a tour of the school grounds by Mrs Dewhurst and the Eco Club. We loved looking at the potatoes which were growing in disused tyres, and seeing the kindergarten in action, planting begonias. Mrs Dewhurst then showed us the dragonfly that the Y2 boys have made, which they are entering into the 'From Waste to Wildlife' competition. "
